HEY AWESOME PEOPLE :DD I HAVE AN AWESOME POST TO BLOG ABOUT TODAY !!!
:D Most of you know it's my Sweet Sixteen yesterday right?! (: I assume that as i've received countless of sms wishes and facebook mails of wishes are flooding my mail box ! I appreciate all the wonderful wishes from all of you, though i might not know you well or are not as close, you guys still wished me ! (: Some of them wished me personally too ! Especially those in school. haha :D Thanks yea !!! I just can't say how happy I am, words would never be enough to express them ! heh. It's my most awesome birthday ever, and what makes it even better is that it is my SWEET SIXTEEN x] The other most most most most important and wonderful thing that made it THE BEST, and never like before is that I've had a WHOLE BUNCH of AWESOME friends and family to celebrate with me !!! hehe.. I sound happy don't I? Well, I am ! :D Hehhhh !!! Wanna know the WHOLE story from my point of view? (: Here goes !
I woke up really early as I couldn't really sleep. I don't know why but i guess I actually knew there was something awaiting me. What I expected was just a lilttle surprise when I come to school, like the usual, open the door and all of them are inside with the lights closed and all you see is the orange flame of the lit candles. Then slowly the candle brings up the wonderful faces of your familiar friends. That was what I expected, but I was WRONG. I reach and was downstairs with a few friends who wished me Happy Birthday :D Then we went upstairs, everything was normal. Just that I've got some wishes coming all about every now and then. The first thing I did was get the poster I left on Friday. It's my birthday present from Shayne. heh. I might have forgot it, but look at the bright side, I received it on my actual day ! ;D hahaha ! Anyways, after that Li Teng came and ask me to go out, say Simone wants to see me outside, so I went to open the door and found a familiar girl in grey holding out some brownies! hhhaha. There's a little pink card stuck onto the top of the plastic used to cover the brownies. She kept saying Happy Birthday all over again and again, and yea, I was silly enough to follow her saying Thank You over and over again ! (: She passed me the brownies SHE MADE and of course I receive it :P It's rude not to accept presents you know ;D hahah !!! After that, I went back to my seat, and Joey asked me some questions about who was the first and what number she was. hahah ! Yes, I did record down, but only up to before 1am. I can't remember clearly but I did tell her those I remember, which are those who are the first and second ones that wished me before 12am, and after 12am. I will post about those later :D hahah ! Be sure to look out for your name ! Right after telling her that, she asked me : " Who gave you your first present then? " I point to Shayne's poster I left there and said : " There, Shayne loh ! " Then she say : " No, no !!! Not early one ! " And I reply : " Owh.. then nobody yet " Right away her hand flew all over her bag like a monkey desperate to look for burried bananas O: hahaha ! It was really really quick ! Her hands finally slow down A LITTLE and out comes a black Miss Whatever plastic bag. Right then when she passes it to me, she told me her pendrive was inside and there was a little slide for me. She told me to on the music first then only the slide. After that she said she still have a little something more for me, which is something she cooked. She asked her aunty to teach her. (: Aww ! How sweet ;] I went to the locker after that, classes are still on whether or not it's my birthday right? :P Zhi Wei then came along with a tupperware of cookies she baked and also a handmade card ! It ain't no ordinary card to those out there, but it's a very beautiful, cute, personalized card. haha ! Okay, so.. to my friends in ace, they make these kinda cards, so.. yea. But I don't think I've ever RECEIVE one my entire life. I've never seen cards like this before I came here too. hahah ! They don't only use card, but also a kind of material, which I don't know what. Anyways, the card was blue :D My fav colour ! And there's a picture of Zhi Wei and I. Flip it over and there's the message :D haha ! I placed it in my locker. On the door where it faces in and has sides to slot the card in. haha ! Owh, and the cookies she baked, Mmm.. really good ! I kept eating them in class! There were those in the shape of hearts, bunnies and some sort of flower :P hehe. Nothing much happened after that if i remember right, let's fast forward to lunch time (: At lunch, Li Teng and Joy told me that they were so sorry because I didn't have a surprise, they told me that they were SUPPOSE to have a surprise but the rest did not really do their part and i've kinda spotted out part of their lil surprise O: hahha !!! I didn't mean to !!! LOLL. Though they said that, I was really fine as I only expected my sweet sixteen to be just like a regular birthday. And I really really do appreciate those wishes from them and that they were all so caring to me this year (: Anyways, I couldn't remember when, but there was this time when I was in the classroom and some of the others - [Leslei, Ryan, Hanson, Li Teng and... some more] were outside, so I walked out, stand next to Hanson (Opposite Leslei) and said Hello ! Immediately, Leslei's head turned towards me and quite a few of them started laughing ! I just stood still till my brain actually analysed what Leslei said. He said : " Later I going Jolene's house " haha ! So.. yea, the rest were laughing and all and I still stood still. Ryan then came over to me and said :" What la? He just going to return u your BBQ set only, why liddat? " then I had this weird expression while replying :" What?! All I did was stand here, you guys were the ones laughing ! " hahahah !! It was really really funny. Li Teng kept telling some others when she entered the class. hahah !! After that Li Teng told me that Leslei was asking Simone if she's going to bball, then something like he wants to drop by and pass me a present before going for bball. Then I told Li Teng that I have voice classes right after school, and that my family and I were going out for dinner. She was so calm and reacted normally, she said owh.. then i'll tell Leslei later la, maybe ask him to pass to your maid or something. I said okay and yea, nothing much happened after that till after school. Mum was the one fetching me, so.. as usual, I WAS LATE. My voice class today was pushed forward to 5.30, but mum only fetched me ard 5.40+ and we reached about 6pm.
I know that paragraph is really really long, so.. let's continue in another paragraph :P Anyways, I reached there and saw my sister. She introduced my to my voice training teacher - John. He's a really nice guy, he's got a slang when he speaks and is really friendly. In class, I found out I'm a sharp O: which also meant i am OUT OF TUNE. lol !!!At some part of the "singing", I find myself really bad but John however, said it's alright. o__o owh well, he IS the teacher (: Anyways, after class is over, I asked Sharon [the person in charge there] the time of my original class. She explained that it's on 6.30 but because my sister COULDN'T make it today so it was pushed earlier. As usual, i called my mum and she picked me up. Mum told me that dinner starts at 7.30, and we're already late. [Just now in school, my sister already sms me that we're going for dinner at KL. ] Mum also told me that my sister said I had to change. Wear more formal and so on. As soon as I came into the house, my sister rushed me upstairs to get changed. She said I've got to wear skirt but I explained that I DO NOT have a SKIRT. o__o I rushed to the toilet after that :P then.. when I came out, she threw that topic away and asked me to follow her down to see the cake SHE baked for me. I said alright and said that I want to get my camera first, like my sister, she said in the same tone : " no no !! you come see my cake first !! " then I just followed her down and..
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU .. !! " I see lights floating to my direction, then another second as the same song continues, the lights flickered on and I saw my friends there, carrying the cake and singing that song (: It's like.. my FIRST birthday party O: and my friends actually did all these for me. Not to forget my sister, she did a lot too ! hahah :DD I made a wish and cut the cake. haha !
We had dinner at my place after that, my maid made spaghetti, friend chicken, salad, nugget and fries. (: I was really full though.. as i ate a lot in school. Joy however, took a whole bunch of spaghetti for me. O: I bet i'm gonna be fat. After that we took a few pictures and so on, talked, played cards and other stuff. My sister sang a song in front of all of us. A song which she made just for my sweet sixteen :D Thanks sis ! After that, the guys continued their card games and the girls start taking pictures and see those photos Zhi Wei gave me as a present :D They were awesome ! I bet there's atleast RM100 used in printing those photos. One by one, my friends all went back and I went upstairs to reply 103 notifications on facebook. hahha !!! My sister stayed downstairs to watch tv though. She called me down once to show me a girl singing. Then she called me again after awhile about a guy dancing. I rushed down and suddenly..
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU .. !! " o______o AGAIN?! LOL!!!! This time the lights were on and the familiar faces were spread out in a semi-circle shape. All surrounding the cake. heh. This time it wasn't my friends of Sirius Scholar, but it's my spiritual family :D My wonderful cell group. Andrew, Leo, Dicvinn, Shyane, Zoey, Bariki, Lily and Wei Shen were there. I never expected that they would actually celebrate my birthday today. o_____o Here are the reasons why ...
1. I've just had a surprise party from my friends.
2. I thought that Andrew Lau [My cell leader] was still in Singapore, or elsewhere.
3. It's also Ian Zing's birthday and I doubt Ian Lee and Sung Lin would not be celebrating for her.
so far, these were the three reasons stuck in my head. Well, Sung and Ian Lee really ain't here. haha ! After that I made a wish again, which is the same wish as the one before, and cut the cake :D On the cake is a plastic with the wordings "Happy 16th Birthday Jolene. " and there's a smiley face after that. Somehow it reminds me of Wei Shen. I think he had a display picture like that smiley face before? o__o Or maybe he drew that smiley face before. Owh well. :P A little while after that, the bell rang and my sis opened the door. Guess who? Yeap :D The missing people ! Sung Lin and Ian Lee !! hahah :DD We took a group picture after that and had cake. A bottle of sparkling juice was also taken out to be shared ^^Right after that we played a game called 007. It was really fun, and the person who did something wrongly will have his or her face drawn. :P Everyone who lost tried avoiding being drawn by Leo or Andrew. hahah !!! Leo draws unexpected things and Andrew kept drawing the same HUGE RED MOLE. hahha !!! I got drawn about.. 4 times. The first time from Shyane - which is something that was not what she told me she'd draw D: the second and third one was from Leo, which is a bowl of rice together with a pair of chopsticks, and a cute lil pig. The fourth and last one was from Andrew, which... well, no.. it ain't no ordinary mole, but he kinda scribbled my face where he started and ended without any plans or direction. After everyone was drawn, Ian Lee being the last, we took a group picture and some of them took individual ones :D heheh ! All of them slowly went back after that, they still have classes tmr and needed their rest.
I really appreciate every single thing that they[My friends and spiritual family, and also my own family] have done. It is my BEST birthday ever and I really enjoyed it. Owh and, my spiritual family got me an MNG top :D It is my first one and I wore it today, it's really comfortable and the size is just perfect ! Thanks guys ! I really love each and everyone of you a lot ! Though I might not be good in showing it, I really do :D Thanks all ! <3
